A great team effort resulted in a safe and successful project in a live environment.
The Warehouse Support Office was bursting at the seams, so Naylor Love Auckland was engaged to construct a four-storey steel frame office building adjacent to their existing head office in Northcote. The building houses a training facility on the ground floor and call centres on the upper levels.
The construction was carried out in a live environment and had several interfaces with the existing building. A combination of excellent client relationships and subcontractors who were prepared to go the extra mile ensured that any potential difficulties were overcome with ease.
Some seriously engineered footings provide for a seismically sound platform for the structure to stand on.
A great team effort between the stakeholders and the construction team resulted in a very successful project, completed on time and within budget. The excellent safety culture fostered by Naylor Love resulted in few incidents, no lost time injuries, and excellent safety results throughout.
