Whanganui Base Hospital, Whanganui (Lockwood Naylor)
$37.5 million. A complex redevelopment including construction of the perioperative block and acute services building while the hospital was operational.
Hutt Valley Hospital
$8.5 million. Redevelopment included a breast screening facility, new MRI and CT unit, caesarian theatre, and baby resuscitation unit. A later stage involved relocatable temporary operating theatres.
Boulcott Hospital, Hutt Valley
$4.9 million. Alterations and extensions, including a new operating theatre and additional ward space, to a fully functioning private hospital.
Russley Retirement Village, Christchurch
$50+ million, work in progress. Completed so far are fifteen villas, service installations, roading and general infrastructure. Eventually the complex will include seven large apartment blocks and a community centre.
Holly Lea Retirement Village, Christchurch
$13 million. Staged redevelopment, including construction of an apartment lodge, new kitchens, lounge area, physio rooms, cinema and sunrooms, in keeping with the original 1909 buildings.
Mercy Hospital, Dunedin
$8.2 million. Major development and refurbishment included a new day surgery unit, enhanced theatre suite, and an increase in the number of single rooms. National winner health project category NZRMB awards 2009.
Wanaka Lakes Health Centre
$4.6 million. 2000m2 design and build multi-purpose medical facility. Comprising two medical practices, as well as physio, pharmacy, optometrist and radiology departments, all sharing a common lobby.
Belmont Lifestyle Village, Devonport, North Shore City
$6.3 million. The ESD extension of 28 apartments, doctors' rooms, chapel and other facilities, while the geriatric hospital remained operational. Auckland silver award winner in health category, RMB awards 2007.
