Director – Naylor Love Dunedin Ltd
After completing his apprenticeship Ian joined Naylor Love Structural Steel Division as a Boilermaker, where he gained practical experience and skills in construction of steel framed structures. He then retrained as a Quantity Surveyor and spent six years working in a Consulting Quantity Surveyors practice before returning to Naylor Love as Quantity Surveyor.
Ian continued to work as a Quantity Surveyor for a number of years, then moved into a Project Manager role, where he was involved in a number of significant projects in Dunedin, including the award winning University of Otago Information Services Building. He then transferred to Auckland as a Project Manager in The Warehouse / Naylor Love Joint Venture looking after all new and refurbishment projects for The Warehouse throughout the North Island.
In 2005, Ian returned to Dunedin to take on his current role as Director of Naylor Love Dunedin Ltd.
