Due to growth, we have a great opportunity for a Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor to further support our Wellington site teams. We are looking for a driven person who wants to contribute to a positive health and safety culture.
Ideally, you will have at least three years’ health and safety advisory or supervisory experience in the construction sector or similar dynamic industry, where each day can bring different challenges. Fundamental to the role will be your ability to work with and within our staff and subcontractor teams, understand our business and provide a practical and solutions focused approach to our drive for constant improvement.
Reporting to our Regional H&S Manager, you will assist our site teams with both project and resource needs. This will require a highly organised person with strong communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to apply these both to projects and to tender submissions. A tertiary or professional qualification would be an advantage, but more important is an understanding of relevant Health & Safety legislation and its application.
Applications close on 29 October 2020.
