We are looking for an intermediate to senior level Project Engineer to join our Wellington team to continue to deliver construction projects in the Wellington region.
Ideally, you’ll have a structural background with a few years of design under your belt and heading toward becoming a Chartered Engineer. Our Engineers are part of our delivery teams for some of our major works in Wellington.
Our latest premier project is the Wellington Town Hall upgrade, which is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Your responsibilities on this project will include design and supervision of significant temporary works and design management. This is a great opportunity to get your head around construction methodology, buildability and seeing your work put in place.
You will manage, co-ordinate and monitor all activities of consultants and subcontractors with structural aspects to ensure that design co-ordination elements are met to suit project specifics.
You’ll need to be curious resilient, willing to learn and able to communicate well across the range of people you find on construction projects. Problem solving skills are a must.
