2025 South Island Property People Awards
Our Youth Hub Christchurch team were honoured to win the RDT Best Team Award at the South Island Property People Awards!
Judges praised the inclusive design and collaborative process that made the project a model for community partnership.
This project was truly a team effort – nearly 10,000 students fundraised for the Youth Hub, local businesses donated furnishings, and volunteers helped set up the supported housing wing. You could see it on site: tradespeople giving up weekends to join the Crusaders and school groups for working bees, suppliers quietly upgrading specs without charging extra.
If there’s a takeaway from this project, it’s that when a community truly gets behind an idea, and stays behind it, it can create something far greater than the sum of its parts.
A huge thank-you to The Youth Hub Trust for driving this vision, to Field Studio, and to every consultant, donor, trade partner, supplier, school, neighbour, and volunteer whose skill, creativity, and heart made this possible. This award truly belongs to all of you.
