2026 Property Industry Awards
With two Best in Category wins, three Excellence awards and five Merits across a wide range of categories, it was wonderful to celebrate alongside our team, clients, project partners and the wider property industry at the Property Industry Awards!
The IKEA Auckland store secured Best in Category in the Yardi Retail Property Awards. Chief Judge Andy Evans complimented the discipline of delivery behind the project,
IKEA Auckland is a complex retail asset with very little room for loose coordination. The building needed to meet IKEA’s global standards while also responding to local site conditions, consenting requirements and operational deadlines. The delivery team managed that with real focus.
Coastal View Lifestyle Village won Best in Category in the Hawkins Multi Unit Residential Property Award, with the Yacht Club wellbeing hub delivered by our Nelson team standing out for Chief Judge Andy Evans:
The Yacht Club is a beautiful building, but its real strength is how it functions within village life. It gives residents a shared place to come together, while the surrounding homes provide privacy, comfort and choice.
Other winning projects that we are very proud to have been part of were Auckland University of Technology – Tukutuku, with an Excellence in the Resene Sustainable Building Property Award, Endoscopy Auckland Kipling Ave and Wellington Airport Fire Station, both winning Excellence in the Warren and Mahoney Civic, Health and Arts Property Award, and Southern Cross Wellington Hospital Redevelopment, with a Merit in the same category.
Ōtepoti, Dunedin was awarded a Merit in the RCP Commercial Office Property Award, while three of our Ministry of Education projects – Northcote College – Tech Block, Otago Boys’ High School – Shand Building Redevelopment and Te Kura Matua o Wainuiomata – Wainuiomata High School – won Merits in the Colliers Project Leaders Education Property Award.
The Shand Building was also awarded a Merit in the Heritage and Adaptive Reuses Property Award, a category we were honoured to sponsor. Congratulations to the team behind Hamilton’s BNZ Theatre, which won Best in Category!
