Breaking the rainbow ceiling
We were honoured to be invited take part in Fletcher Living and Pride Pledge’s “Breaking the Rainbow Ceiling” event.
The event involved a panel discussion and site tour of The Hill development, where we’re currently on site delivering an eight-storey apartment building.
“Breaking the Rainbow Celling” was held to shed light on the roadblocks and challenges that the rainbow community faces in workplaces. Auckland Site Manager Anna shared the advantages she sees in being part of the 🌈 community and working in the construction industry, as it removes a lot of possible miscommunication in a predominantly male environment and has given her an extra layer of resilience.
