Carpet tile donations
We’ve donated 800kgs of carpet tiles to families needing warmer, drier healthier homes!
Environmental Manager Stephanie Mayer delivered the huge load to the AWHI Healthy Homes Initiative, who work to improve housing conditions for whānau in South Auckland and Waikato.
So far, three whānau have installed the carpet tiles in sleeping and living areas, helping improve warmth and heat retention where it’s needed most. The tiles have also been used at community events as practical tools to demonstrate heat loss and effective heating.
Thanks to our Waikato BoP Projects & Interiors team, who carefully set the carpet tiles aside during two fitout projects. This is a great example of how thoughtful planning on site can extend the life of materials, reduce construction waste and create meaningful community impact.
