Postgrad student visit to AUT
We welcomed a group of 22 postgraduate students to a site tour at Auckland University of Technology.
The students from AUT’s Master of Construction Management and Master of Engineering Project Management programmes were able to experience both completed and live projects in a single site visit to AUT’s North Campus.
The group explored the award-winning Tukutuku building, gaining insight into mass timber construction and low-carbon building approaches, before touring the North Campus library refurbishment to see how our Projects & Interiors team are managing the challenges of working in a live environment.
Seeing both projects side by side gave students a unique opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world construction, from sustainability and project planning through to site logistics and day-to-day delivery.
A big thank you to Daisy Liang, Jacob Scott and Annie Day for sharing their expertise, and to the AUT students and faculty for their enthusiasm and engagement.
