The EA Networks Centre in Ashburton is a world-class aquatic and recreation centre, with four swimming pools, a stadium, fitness centre, and an extensive foyer/administration area with meeting rooms, a café, offices, and changing rooms for the pools. The project was managed by our South Island pool specialists from Central Otago.
At 8,000m² and requiring a number of different construction approaches for the different zones, this was a complex build, with a high level of community expectation following years of dedicated fundraising.
The design incorporated a number of environmentally sustainable principles, including ‘whole of life’ materials, energy efficiency, passive ventilation and natural lighting.
We were pleased to deliver this stunning community facility on time, on budget and to an exceptionally high standard.
