Two high-quality, complex, fast track hospitality fitouts.

The Bavarian and El Camino are new restaurants in a hospitality precinct at the base of the Skyline Gondola in downtown Queenstown. They are both part of the Rockpool Dining Group, which has many venues in Australia and Auckland.

We stepped in at short notice to act as the main subcontractor for the Australian-based incumbent, who could not undertake the contract when the trans-Tasman travel bubble closed. The client project managed the fitouts remotely, with Naylor Love providing site management, material procurement, logistics and carpentry resource.

The project scope included construction of commercial kitchen and bar areas, joinery fabrication and installation, service trade coordination, installation and commissioning, plus consent compliance for operation.

We completed both fitouts simultaneously over a 10-week period during national Covid restrictions, achieving the programmed opening dates. The result was two highly quality, complex hospitality fitouts for a very appreciative client.
