The refurbishment of the lobby of the State Insurance Tower at 1 Willis Street was a complex refit accomplished within a live environment, with the lobby of the 30 storey building remaining open throughout.

The fitout consisted of new acoustic feature ceilings, glazed wind lobbies, an upgraded café and new joinery items. Nearly every element of this project was bespoke, and was delivered by Naylor Love and our valued supply chain.

With early contractor involvement, collaborative management with the client and consultant teams throughout, this successful project was delivered to the satisfied client on time and within budget.

“Precinct Properties engaged Naylor Love during the design process for the lobby refurbishment at State Insurance Tower. Their input during the design process was invaluable, and their delivery of the finished lobby is a credit to their diligence, and understanding of our requirements.

The project was completed within an area that had to remain open to the public throughout the construction phase, and this aspect of the project was well managed. The finished project is a credit to all the Naylor Love team.”
Mike Patching, Precinct Properties

We followed the lobby refurbishment with refits on levels 6 and 12 of the office space, with upgrades including new ceiling grids, ceiling tiles and in-ceiling services, energy efficient lighting, chilled beam air conditioning, new carpet tiles, and refurbished bathrooms.
