Complex refurbishment accomplished in a live environment.
The refurbishment of the lobby of the State Insurance Tower at 1 Willis Street was a complex refit accomplished within a live environment, with the lobby of the 30-storey building remaining open throughout.
The fitout consisted of new acoustic feature ceilings, glazed wind lobbies, an upgraded café and new joinery items. Nearly every element of this project was bespoke, and was delivered by Naylor Love and our valued supply chain.
With early contractor involvement, collaborative management with the client and consultant teams throughout, this successful project was delivered to the satisfied client on time and within budget.
We followed the lobby refurbishment with refits on levels 5, 6, 12, 19 and 20 of the office space, with upgrades including new ceiling grids, ceiling tiles and in-ceiling services, energy efficient lighting, chilled beam air conditioning, new carpet tiles, and refurbished bathrooms.
