Ronald McDonald House playroom
We mobilised our awesome community of consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to build an indoor playroom at Ronald McDonald House in Christchurch.
A fantastic community effort saw a storeroom transformed into a space that guarantees to provide hours of fun for tamariki and their whānau during hospital stays, with:
- Mitre 10 donating flooring materials and DIY kids’ kits
- Aotea Group and Mitsubishi taking care of the heat pump supply and installation
- Hall Fabrication providing and installing the accessible ramps
- The Flooring Hub supplying the carpet tiles
- Hush Interiors contributing the ceiling tiles and Autex panels
- Our Naylor Love team pitching in with labour and project coordination and paying for the supply and installation of the custom glass graphics
With the space looking incredible, we also fundraised $6,500 to help kit the space out with toys, books and furniture.
Thank you to everyone who made this community project possible!
