Sustainability On-Site videos
We jumped at the chance to take part in a series of sustainability education videos.
We were delighted to partner with Mitre 10, 3R Group, BRANZ, Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology, Nelson City Council and the Tasman District Council to support Sustainability On-Site, a new, industry-led initiative that puts practical content and tips front and centre to help builders reduce waste and adopt more sustainable practices.
Hosted by builder Chris Donnelly and apprentice Kiko Kuiti, the short videos offer clear, easy-to-follow solutions that can be applied on any building site, no matter the size or location. We’re big fans – and we intend to use them in staff and contractor inductions at our Gibbons Naylor branch, across Nelson/Tasman, and on our sites throughout New Zealand.
Waste is a major, sector-wide challenge, and tackling it requires collaboration across industry, education, and local government. Sustainability On-Site addresses this by offering simple, technically accurate guidance designed to make sustainable practices easier to adopt.
The videos are clear, easy-to-follow, and straight to the point (just how it should be).
