Te Whare Rama Pods
Our Canterbury team has contributed 450 labour hours to bringing the first ever Te Whare Rama Pod to life.
This incredible initiative by the Lighthouse Trust is designed to give young people a place to go at school to remove themselves from the busyness of the world and connect to nature as they mediate, talk and reset with the support of a coach or psychologist.
Leading the build at St Thomas of Canterbury College is our Leading Hand Simon, supported by 4th-year Apprentice Jacob. They have both stepped up to help deliver a beautiful Sheppard & Rout design featuring a single-plane raking roof, curved walls and an intricate curved internal gutter.
