Trimble HQ fitout
Our Canterbury Projects & Interiors team left no stone unturned in their efforts to divert waste away from landfill during a fitout at Trimble’s One Christchurch HQ.
A notable focus was material reuse: 7.6 tonnes of material was diverted through direct reuse, including ceiling tiles and acoustic insulation retained between project stages. Doors, joinery, whiteboards and carpet tiles were either returned to Trimble for continued use or taken to Trash2Treasure for reuse in the community. Some of the joinery was even donated to Land Search and Rescue New Zealand for reuse in their kitchenette!
Our site team developed a comprehensive waste management plan and completed a whopping 88 REBRI waste tracking forms over a 12-month period to capture all the data.
It was amazing to work with a client who was equally committed to sustainability, with Trimble retrofitting 350 desks as sit-stand desks and recycling the old desk legs. Definitely worth a standing ovation!
