Wellington Cadetship Graduates
Congratulations to our latest Wellington cadets, who have wrapped up their cadetship programme and stepped into their new roles!
Each of them has built on their skills and experience, bringing energy and fresh perspectives that will strengthen the capability of our whole team and workforce.
After studying Construction Engineering at Auckland University of Technology and completing her cadetship, Toni has moved into the role of Services Coordinator. A highlight for her was the chance to work and learn alongside people from a wide range of backgrounds and skillsets.
Isha, who holds a Master of Architecture from Poznan University in Poland, joined us as Wellington’s first BIM Cadet and is now a BIM Coordinator. She especially valued gaining hands-on experience in the preconstruction space – developing 4D sequencing, supporting quantity take-offs and then seeing the project awarded.
Now a Foreperson, Liam completed a Bachelor of Architectural Studies at Victoria University of Wellington and spent three years in architectural design before joining our Construction Management Cadetship. He says the programme boosted his confidence and capability in managing projects, and his biggest takeaway is that stepping outside your comfort zone is the fastest way to grow.
Also stepping into a Foreperson role, Ben studied Building Science at Victoria University of Wellington. His standout experience was being trusted with real responsibility and gaining exposure across all stages of a project and work packages.
Rory, now a Quantity Surveyor, completed a Diploma in Construction (Level 6) with a strand in Quantity Surveying at WelTec. His highlight was being involved from start to finish on the Bidfood Wellington project.
