We’re proud to have teamed up with the Climate Action Campus in Christchurch to make it easier for community groups to access unneeded materials coming off our sites – and keep them out of landfill.
Mugford Drain volunteer day
Some of our Christchurch team spent the day volunteering alongside the Estuary Trust at the Mugford Drain Restoration Project.
Resource sorting at Northcote College
The resource sorting area setup at our Northcote College site is so good that we’re running tours!
Community Gardens volunteer day
Some of our Canterbury team used their volunteer day to get the restoration of New Brighton Community Gardens off to a great start.
Slope Hill planting day
Some of our Central Otago team spent their company volunteer day at the Slope Hill Recreation Reserve, planting trees for the Wakatipu Reforestation Trust and Mana Tāhuna Charitable Trust.
Timber waste audit
We’ve been working with Tonkin + Taylor on a detailed audit of the timber waste from our Christchurch Youth Hub site for BRANZ.
Site Safe at Mana College
We teamed up with Site Safe New Zealand recently to host a Foundation Passport course for some of Mana College’s Gateway students.
Porirua Harbour clean-up
A clean-up of Te Awarua-o-Porirua organised by Te Rūnanga o Toa Rangatira was a fantastic chance to do some good and meet some lovely people.
Pipe recycling progress
The In-Sink Plumbing team have really impressed us with their efforts to help out with our PVC and HDPE recycling scheme.
