We’ve been working with our waste partner Green Gorilla in a trial to collect the soft plastics from three of our Auckland sites and deliver it to saveBOARD, who use it to manufacture their innovative board products.
Branded clothing recycling
We’re diverting end-of-life branded clothing and PPE from landfill by sending it to Upparel, where it is washed, shredded and turned into a felt-like material that can be used in homewares, furniture and construction.

Our Environmental Manager Annie Day met with William Grant and Ben Rowan from Hilti New Zealand to discuss the benefits of buying in bulk. Good sports that they are, William and Ben joined Annie to launch our #wasteshakedown, where we’ll share some of the ideas we’re exploring with our clients, subcontractors and supply chain to build more sustainably.
