Te Puna Hapori name the crane competition
There were a few new faces around our Te Puna Hapori site in Whanganui recently!
We were delighted to welcome tamariki from Te Kura Kaupapa Maori o Te Atihaunui-a-Paparangi for a site visit after taking part in our Name the Crane competition. They got a close-up look at progress – and saw our crane, now officially named Kakīroa (giraffe), in action.
It’s always a highlight when the wider community – especially its youngest members – can connect with the work happening in their own backyard.
