Southern Youth Development trail building
Our Dunedin team spent the day transforming timber offcuts into skinny trails for Southern Youth Development.
Southern Youth Development kindly loaned us some bikes in February so we could get everyone out pedalling during the Aotearoa Bike Challenge. We were delighted to return the favour by sending 3 of our team to spend the day building skinny trails for the rangatahi involved in their youth development programme, who learn new skills by refurbishing old bikes.
We used timber offcuts from Naylor Love sites around Dunedin to build the trails, diverting waste away from landfill and helping out an amazing community organisation.
