Ashburton student site visit
We invited staff and students from the Ashburton College Trades Academy to observe our first foundation pour at the Ashburton Library and Civic Centre.
Senior Site Manager Mark Titter explained the documentation we build to, coordination requirements, the increasing focus on BIM, and the various features of the pour, with students able to see their theoretical learnings applied in practice.
We’ve got future visits planned during the superstructure and fit-out phases. We also look forward to hosting students from the Academy for work experience during the project.
